Dear Lake Creek Lodge friends & family ~

To do our part to encourage a successful navigation of these uncertain times, we are implementing the following temporary changes to how our resort operates:

Self Check-In/Out:  To check in upon arrival, please go directly to your cabin’s designated parking spot(s), to which directions will be provided with your pre-arrival email. Your cabin will already be opened for you and your key on your kitchen’s countertop. To check out, please close all windows, leave your key on the kitchen countertop, and proceed to your next destination safely. We will either automatically collect the balance owed on your stay by charging the credit card we have on file the morning of your arrival, or, if that is not possible, come by your cabin during your stay to take care of final payment.

Cancellations: We are adjusting our cancellation policy for this summer so that bookings between May 22 and September 30, 2020, will receive a full refund if the reservation is canceled 21 days prior to arrival.  There is no refund of deposit thereafter.  We are waiving the $100 cancellation fee this summer.

Rebooking:  If you are unable to come this summer for any reason, you can roll your deposit over to 2021 if requested a minimum of 21 days prior to arrival of your existing reservation.

Grace Period:  We will be inserting a 24 hour grace period between every reservation as the most current data indicates that this could increase safety for both our guests and our staff. New reservations, whether booked through our website or over the phone, will automatically observe the 24 hour grace period. Modifying existing reservations is going to require reaching out to each of you individually who are impacted to figure out if we can move your reservation one day in either direction, or, if that is not possible, shorten your reservation by one night. To accomplish this we are permitting existing reservations to become two-night stays, if necessary, to accommodate for the grace period.

Additional Cabins:  If you are supposed to be sharing a cabin this summer with someone you have not been in isolation with and would like to add an additional cabin to your existing reservation in order to maintain a safe physical distance, we will rent you an additional cabin (#1-15) at a 25% discount, if one is available. The full amount for the additional cabin will be due upon booking and non-refundable.

Disinfection & Housekeeping:  In addition to the 24 hour grace period, we are disinfecting every surface in the cabins between reservations per CDC guidelines. Additional disinfectant and hand-sanitizer will be provided for self-administering, as well.  We will leave clean towels and linens on your doorstep instead of staff entering your cabin mid-stay.  To limit the number of communal surfaces, we ask that you bring your own reading material and sports equipment this summer.  Bicycles will be disinfected between rentals.

Swimming Pool:  The pool will be open to one cabin at a time and so that every guest has a fair opportunity to enjoy it.  We will be disinfecting the bathroom and patio furniture between guests.

Lodge:  The lodge will, for now, remain closed to guests in order to prevent unintentional congestion and limit the amount of communal surfaces on the property.

Game Room:  Since this isn’t a good year for game rooms, we are hiring an Activities Director (!) to create/lead outdoor, safely distanced, games and excursions.

Restaurant:  While we don’t plan to reopen our dining room immediately, we will be offering take-out pizza, outdoor seating and beverages to-go.

Front Desk:  As we continue to telework in every capacity possible, all reservation inquiries will continue to be handled via telephone and email until further notice.

Laundry Room:  The laundry room will be closed this year.

Tennis Court:  Open to singles play, only (please bring your own equipment).

With each cabin safely distanced from its neighbors and no enclosed spaces between them, we are well-designed to operate under the circumstances.  That said, we feel confident these extra precautions are sound decisions and we Thank You for your continued loyalty and trust.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon–and safely!
